1. The  shocking events that have been transpiring in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region><st1:place>UK</st1:place></st1:country-region> with regard to the ceasing of Holocaust education in the public and private schools.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

<FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><SPAN Cleaned="font-size: 12.0pt">We should all be appalled by the actions of teachers within the </SPAN></FONT><st1:country-region><st1:place>UK</st1:place></st1:country-region> schooling system in repudiating their commitment to Holocaust education. Succumbing to pressure from various groups, they would, in effect, assist in denial of the Holocaust. Insofar as teachers in the <st1:country-region><st1:place>UK</st1:place></st1:country-region> system are left free to not teach mandated Holocaust related studies for fear of giving offence to others, the educational authorities and indeed the government itself need to adopt a more forceful posture. <o:p></o:p>
