1. Meningitis spreads through close contact. Sharing, sneezing or coughing, and physical contact can spread germs.

2. If we think how much we come in contact with people everyday, how much we touch door knobs, shake hands, and even sneeze. Meningitis spreads very easily and is a deadly virus. It can be easily treated with antibiotics if caught early. But if someone who lives in Canada travels to Africa and transmits the virus to a poverty strucken town. The people living there don't have access to doctors or medicine and are usually already weak to begin with. This virus that could easliy be treated could wipe out that entire town.
