1.) The main points are that Cholera is an intestinal infection that is coused by drinking contaminated water or by eating contaminated food.  Cholera can be deadly because it dehydrates you whole body and then flushes it out in diarrhoea.

2.) This source makes me think about all the misfortunate people around the world that may not have a way of boiling or de-contaminating their food or water sources.  It makes me think that some people do not have the option of protecting themselves from preventable diseases.

3.) This is a reliable source because the information is accurate compared to other websites i have read.  It has a date of copyright on the home page.  It has a page all about WHO and it tells you about their governance and where the information is coming from.

1.) The main points are the treatment for cholera is to drink lots of water and rehydrate yourself over and over and to not eat any salts that may soak up any water that you need to stay alive.  Also their is antibiotice that you can be subscribed to help kill the bacteria that is dehydrating your body.

2.) This source makes me think about how it is a good thing that globilization has increased the technologies around the world to educate people on how they can revive their lives.  Also it makes me realize how lucky we are to have as much water pretty much to drink and how some coutries have very little and have to work very hard for it.

3.) This is a reliable source because it has accurate imformation, there are extra links connected to this website that leads to a government written site.  It has a copyright date and also has a link that allows you to contact the administrators to ask them questions.

1.) The main points are that anyone can get cholera.  Even though it is very rare in the United States it can still affect them if they drink contaminated water that has not been treated.  Also this website talks about how Cholera is spread.  It is spread by a tourist travelling to somewhere in the world where cholera may be more popular or somewhere where the water or food supplies are contaminated and then going back to your home town and contaminating their own water/food supplies, then other drink or eat the bacteria and they become infected.

2.) This source makes me think about how anyone can get this illness if they are not careful.  Also that if you dont watch where your food is coming from and dont clean and filter your foods then you have just as good as chance then anyones else.

3.) This is a reliable source because it is a U.S government site.  Also this site has a link titled "about us" giving their email adress so you can ask them any questions, and just explaining how the site was made and where they got their information from.

4

1.) The main points are that the U.S. government/ Internation Public health authorities are tying hard to prevent an increase of outbreaks of cholera.  They have been sending medical equipment and medicines to countries in need and have also been working with water and sewage operators.

2.) This makes me think about how bad it must really be for the government to get involved.  The government tries to help but it has to be serious for them to get involved, so for them to have got involved shows me how much they really want to help.

3.) This is a reliable source because it is a U.S. government site, it has lots of contact information like phone number and email address and the information on this site is relevant.

5

1.) The main points are that cholera first originated in India. Then it spread ripidly along trade routes to China, Missle East and Europe creating a truly global disease.  Which killed thousands and thousands of people.

2.)This source makes me think about how if everyone would have been just alittle more careful with washing and disunfecting their food and water then this wouldnt be such a big deal today.  By just washing your foods and boiling your water many lives could have probably been saved.

3.) This is a reliable source because it has a date, it has accurate information and also has a link that says contact us with their email address for any questions you may have.
