Staying anonymous on the internet is virtually impossible these days but can be accomplished through secured tunneling which you can get from the Premium services listed in the other trail. Tor is the only other way I have found to surf the internet while keeping my identity anonymous. It's a little tedious to setup but the connections are pretty fast and you proxy through servers all around the world with the fastest ones first. The rest of the marks in here will be mostly for anonymous internet browsing and how to keep your surfing habits hidden from prying eyes and anyone else who has access to your computer. I also highly recommend that if you want to hide your tracks that you use Mozilla Firefox and make sure that you after you download, install and run the program that you go to Tools > Options > Privacy, and on the bottom under Private Data select "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox"
