If you cannot visit a butterfly habitat, or dont have one in your vicinity, the next best way of knowing about these winged beauties of course is to read a book on them. Here is a book that just fits the bill. The text of the book takes this beyond a coffee-table book, and it is the beautiful photographs that will sell the book to libraries and readers. If you cant afford it, do ask at the local library for a browse.

John and Gloria Tveten writes about their unforgettable nature trail at Chipinque Ecologico in Mexico. "The group list contains 87 species of butterflies for the two days; our personal count is 75.  Of those, 27 species are "lifers" that we have never seen before. This search for Monterrey's colorful and unusual butterflies will always rank among our favorite adventures along the nature trails of the world." Feel like a visit?
