Stargirl was my favorite book growing up, and I still like to re-read it every once in a while. It tells us that individuality is a wonderful thing, and inspires people to be themselves!

I've always loved fairy tales, especially ones that are re-done in some cool way. Jane Yolen does an amazing job in Briar Rose. She combines the story of Sleeping Beauty with the Holocaust, and it's... amazing.

This was another one of my favorite books as a child, and is a fun, quick read for any adult. It's difficult to explain and has a crazy twist ending, but it's worth a look!

The Time Traveler's Wife is AMAZING. It's a love story, but not at all cheesy. Audrey Niffenegger presents Time Travel in a cool, new way, and you see the whole thing from different points of view- the time traveler, and his wife. It's difficult to explain, because reading it is so much better than hearing about it.
