Jeanette Winterson made a huge impact on my when I was about 23 and read "Written on the Body". To be honest, since then my attention has strayed a bit. She seems to repeat herself a bit, and some of her more experimental directions didn't do much for me. But she's still a favorite -- even if she'd written only that one book, she'd have been a profound influence on my life.Other comments
