Little Rock Central High 40th Anniversary

The Little Rock Nine incident shows how nine black students' bravery set a precedent for the rest of America.  This was not an event that ran smoothly, as like most event of the Civil Right Movement, but this particular movement showed the segregation of public schools would happen, even if it meant the federal government had to intervene.  Make sure that you are viewing the different sections of this site.  There is a great deal of detail of the events that took place at Little Rock Central High School.  There are also a great deal of photos and video that help the viewer to understand what went on in Arkansas in 1957.
