OneStopAppSecurity's Trails
I have never read this book but it is supposed to be spectacular and may be of particular interest to you. While the story has been turned into a horror/monster story, the book is actually a discussion about the good and evil (not in a religious way - in a psychological way) in all of us.
If you search for "pages" you'll see the number of pages in the book, if this is a factor.
One thing to note is that this book (and I think it is the only one), is actually shorter than it appears. If you look at the "Customer Reviews" (you can search for it), it says that there are several forwards and afterwards and that the actual story is 65% of the 144 pages - that comes out to 94 pages.
