The only site that allows you to post about a lost dog, find a significant other, set up a fling, meet someone to go biking with, buy a house, sell a car, get a job and sell yourself all in one easy location. No wonder it's number two...
3
Number three, youtube. Finally it's possible to watch commercials that were barely funny the first time, a girl rant about herself, a soccer player head butt someone a thousand times, a kid order fastfood with a rap, and whatever the hell this is.
4
The first online shop that allowed one click ordering. Haven't used one click ordering before? Alright, let me put it into perspective for you: it is now possible to order two hundred dollars worth of books because you thought it was funny they all had "poop" in their titles that one night you were really drunk. Be warned is all I am saying...
5
Combining all of the bookmarking type sites into one convenient location. Site not recommended for those with a short attention span.
6
In today's world, it is easy to forget the hardships of individuals from yesteryear. Physical maps, folding them back the right way and the slew of bad jokes from bad comedians that went along with all of that hubbub.

Your one stop site for anything you can do government-wise online. Welp, that's about it. The sites I didn't include for redundancy purposes or other reasons include: 5. Techmeme 8. del.icio.us 9. Bloglines
1. nice list... I wonder if del.icio.us will stay in top 10 for 2007. Also, popurls is interesting... a  consolidator of consolidators!
