Between the 1800s and 1900s, a mass number of immigrants traveled to America seeking opportunity and refuge from poor conditions in their countries. Immigration has created and continues to create a unique blend of cultures within the United States.

Pack your bags! It is 1901, and you are headed to America, the Land of Opportunity! Follow the footsteps of the immigrants who traveled to Ellis Island in hopes of making America their new home and explore modern-day immigration, as well. Carefully read the material on each webpage and answer the questions found on each sticky. Write your answers on a separate sheet of paper.
