Chalk dust is harmful to health hence it’s better to switch to white boards. This is one of the arguments for the change to white boards. Chalk dust might trigger an Asthma attack. Whilst whiteboards reduce allergy problems.

College of Natural Sciences is totally against using whiteboards. White boards produce their own kind of ‘dust’ which stains the walls underneath. Marker pens are 10 times more expensive than chalks!
