Internet Wiki Resources

A trail of 196 pages, marked with comments, by arleas
About this trail:
Since the beginning of time, people have said "Where can I spew the stuff I think I know so that everyone else can learn from my great intellect?"

This is how the wiki got started.  Besides being the most retarded name for an internet application, it's also a sometimes useful resource for information.

Every time I find a new one, I'll add it to this list..
196 marks in this trail

Everyone knows wikipedia.  In fact, why am I even bothering to add it to a list of wikis?  I guess so that I can avoid the inevitable "HAY WHEREZ TEH WIKIPEDIUH?" comment...

Anyway, this place is full of elitist assholes who will remove your edits EVEN IF IT'S HELPFUL.  Also if you should happen to create an article, it'll promptly be added to the list of Articles for Deletion unless you can suck cock enough to become one of the elite assholes who will remove other peoples edits.

In short: This used to be a cool place till a few snobs fucked it all up.

Now, if you're one of those people who insist every word in the bible was handwritten by God, then you probably don't like the wikipedia very much.

These people HATE wikipedia, and so they've pretty much made their own version that is "Free from political correctness" which sadly makes them every bit as bad as the assholes they hate so much.

Instead of trying to keep everything totally neutral and unbiased (which is hard to do when you have a bazillion editors), they want it to be biased, as long as the bias is towards America and Christianity...

Expect to see lots of vandalized pages here.
3
This is a wiki for various free and open source programs you can find on the internet.  If you're looking for the cheap-ass solution to a problem, this would be a good start.
4
After Stephen Colbert called for Wikipedia to be vandalized repeatedly, I think he got into a little trouble.   So now as a way to keep his kids off the Wikipedia lawn, they've given them their very own wiki to scribble in, deface, and reword for more truthiness...
5
The Uncyclopedia is pretty much useless for anything but strange bizarre humor.  If seeing totally Fucked up articles sounds like fun to you, then THIS is your heaven.

I've seen quite a few funny pages here, but for every funny page is about 5 unfunny pages.  It's like digging for gold in a septic tank...
6
This is the main page for one of the chan imageboards wiki.  It's pretty barren as far as front pages go, but there's content to be seen if you're willing to go digging for it.

Most of this stuff is about 4chan memes.
7
This is a site that lets you make your OWN wiki... I've never used it, but it's supposed to be extremely easy to use (and probably easy to fuck up as well)
8
This is an unusual wiki... Basically, anytime someone comes up with a cool project, they write up the details, put it on the internet and this place will link to it (or copy it, I'm not sure).

9
Another specialized Wiki, this one is for YTMND memes.  A lot of these are stolen directly from Somethingawful or 4chan, but a few are original.

Still, if you're confused about something, this is the place to look.

10
Yet another WIki.  I keep finding these all the time.  This one is related specifically to the Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS, but it has a little PSP info too... mostly it's about homebrew, hacking and piracy.
11
This is another sort of wiki, but this one is more personal... Rather than having everyone edit everyone else's articles, you get to write your own stuff and let everyone else read it and rate it on how useful it is.

It's more of a blog sometimes than a wiki, but it's still got some useful stuff in it.
12
This is the wiki for everything about Futurama... It also mentions the future of Futurama, including the upcoming straight-to-DVD movies, and new episodes starting in 2008...
13
This is the main page of wikibooks.org, which is basically open source textbooks.. This could be very valuable if the information is trustworthy enough.

In some ways, I think Wikipedia tries too hard to be the primary resource for stuff that it really shouldn't be... This site would be much better equipped to handle the task.

Hopefully this isn't run by a bunch of snobs like wikipedia...
14
This isn't really a wiki....but it's sorta like a wiki in the concept of asking for help and getting it from random people on the internet.

It could be useful
15
Another wiki resource, this is along the lines of Instructables... it teaches you how to do certain things.

Very helpful for the DIY types...
16
Yet another Wiki (they're EVERYWHERE).  This time it's about Open source software and a documentary/move that is going to be made about Open Source software.  The "Sue me First" article should be amusing.
17
This was unexpected... I was searching for something about an old TV show and BAM, here it is... a wiki dedicated to TV shows...

This could be interesting...
18
Yep, it's a wiki for people who want to invest money... This is either a good idea or a very VERY bad idea... I don't know which, since I Don't invest
19
Yet another Wiki I've stumbled upon... it's mostly a hacking/security wiki, but there's lots of useful info in here...
20
This is kinda cool...it's a wiki for flash... Supposedly open source though I'm pretty sure some of it is stolen from some other web sites.... line rider is in here for example, and I KNOW that's not open source.....

Still, if you like flash, you'll love this
21
Another Wiki resource for Open Source and freeware programs...I don't think this one looks as good as the other one I've seen, but it never hurts to have more than one place to look for stuff like this
22
This is a wiki for various web pages, sort of a way to find out more info about sites (like stumbleupon)... It's mostly website reviews written by the people who visit the pages, but if there is no entry for a webpage, it'll actually visit the page and grab some basic info to get the article started...

I wonder what it says for trailfire.com?
23
I don't guess this is strictly a wiki... it doesn't use the regular Wiki software, but the concept is similar and the concept is what I'm interested in here.

The idea is simple: you can ask a question, and an expert will answer... the answer stays on the web for anyone else to see so that the more questions are asked, the more they're answered and the more complete the resource is...

In that way, submitting a question (that hasn't already been asked) is a way of adding to the database...
24
This isn't strictly a wiki either, but the concept is similar... Basically, whatever it is you're expert at, you make a video describing how to do it, upload it, it gets featured and people take notes based on YOUR knowledge...

Looks like they've got quite a few categories.. everything from how to keep your horse happy to how to patch drywall...with a few attempts at humor thrown in such as "how to be the perfect girlfriend"...
25
Another Wiki, and made to address Questions you might have as a newbie trying to run linux...
26
Another wiki, this time for people who are interested in using a "fabber"... which is like a printer only instead of doing a 2D representation, it builds the object in 3D....

Some build the object by spraying plastic, and others use lasers to remove material from a block... I don't have one, but I'm adding these wiki pages as I run into them..
27
Another Wiki, this one is for fans of Pokemon...  Apparently there's enough to talk about here to warrant over 5000 articles (even though there's less than 500 pokemon types).
28
Yes folks, we have another wiki... for Filesharing, Copyright, Cyber Liberties, sort of an anarchists cookbook wiki... or something... I dunno...

If you're worried about the future of the internet, this MIGHT be worth checking out....
29
Now this is pretty much the biggest joke encyclopedia there is.  It gained a lot of fame after the "Jason Fortuny" incident (look it up) and it's also really poorly funded.  Those two things combined make this a very "iffy" website.

If this appears to be "down" just wait a day or two and try again, especially if it's near the end of the month.  I think when they run low on their bandwidth allotment they either shut off all pictures or else they just shut the whole thing down for a day or two.
30
Yep, it's another Wiki... this time it's all about the University of Massachusetts Amherst...

Not all that useful to ME, but someone out there might need to know, especially students...
31
Hey Hey! the Wiki's just keep on coming! I am guessing this is the atheist's wiki... or the answer to the Conservapedia...
32
This isn't really a wiki (in the traditional sense) but it's got the spirit of it.  Basically, you can make up a video to explain how-to in 5 minutes and post it where everyone can see...

I hope this catches on, because sometimes a 5 minute video is worth a thousand words...
33
Another linux related Wiki... I don't mess around with useless eyecandy, but if I did, I'd sure want help with it when it screwed everything up.

Here's your help for when you screw everything up.
34
Another Linux based Wiki, this one allows you to get more information on a variety of Distros which could be the best idea they've ever had for a Linux wiki...
35
This only LOOKS like a copy of the wikipedia. The difference is, this is a version of the wikipedia that avoids technical talk. PLAIN ENGLISH is the language here...

It might be useful to read these articles over the technical ones if you're not totally familiar with the subject.
36
This is a wiki to allow people to write unbiased reports on various products. Unbiased? GOOD LUCK! If this gets as popular as wikipedia you can expect the companies to come in and make their own entries look good, and other people's entries look bad...
37
Do we REALLY need a wiki to explain "Furries"? Apparently so... Though it's probably more to make them feel "normal"...

Dressing up as animals and really pretending to be one is not normal... Anyway, everything you NEVER wanted to know about Furries is here...
38
Hey Wow, it's a wiki all about the Java Bittorrent Client Azureus...

Lots of people don't like Azureus because it's java.  I happen to think it's not a bad client and kinda neat actually.  Especially neat since there's a linux version as well as windows.

Anytime I can use the same program on either OS it's a plus for me...
39
How to make your own Internet TV box...Basically, all the info you'll need to know on how to use your computer to capture video, edit it and then publish it to the web or whatever...

Basically, how to be your own studio...
40
A wiki to tell you how to set various things up on your computer...
41
Every time I think I've found the last wiki possible, I find another.  This is a wiki for a traffic shaping thingie... you know, for those network admins who need to ensure there's enough bandwidth for the important stuff by limiting bandwidth to the unimportant stuff?

If there's another use for this I don't know what it is.
42
And Damn if I haven't run into ANOTHER wiki... this one is for software... You can find out about Open source software, freeware, and other software for the various platforms (Linux, Mac, Windows)...
43
If you're using linux but still want to use windows applications you NEED wine... this is the wiki for Wine... Helpful tips on what programs they got to work, what programs don't work, and so on are given throughout this wiki...
44
Hard to believe I took this long to find this wiki.... actually i've just never needed it...
45
And here's a wiki for people who play Dungeons and Dragons or whatever other RPG...If you're a DM/GM this probably has a lot of useful stuff for you.
46
This is another Linux wiki, but it includes information on how to make your own distro and other neat things...
47
This is a wiki for a cross platform Audio library and toolset.  I don't know if it's open source or what, but it'll be interesting to see what happens with it.  Right now it looks like it just got started up...
48
Every time I think I've just about found every wiki in existence, I find another. This is another wiki for linux users who want to use a window manager called Openbox...
49
Here's a wiki page for how to turn your xbox into a linux machine...
50
Yep, another wiki... Another LINUX wiki... Seems like Linux and Wiki's go hand in hand... This is for the Avant Window Navigator...maybe you use it? Maybe you don't...
51
This should be the end of this trail (but it might not be)... it's a wiki full of wiki's! I mean, if you're looking for wikis for whatever topic, this page should help you find it (if my trail hasn't helped you)...  Check it out...
52
A wiki for people who don't understand shit about Fruity Loops (or FL Studio as it's now called)... Unfortunately this is not a free program (cheapest version goes for $50) but it's also very full featured and confusing, which is why you need this wiki...

I'm trying out the demo, but I don't know if I'm going to ever be motivated to produce anything with it...
53
This probably goes down in history as the smallest wiki ever... I mean, 6 total articles and that's it?  Maybe there's some more to come?  BTW: It says "mywiki" but I'm not sure who exactly this was made for...
55
This is just some guy's wiki (Paul Swanson? Any relation to the TV dinner guys?)... I guess in Alaska having a wiki constitutes a social life? (Shrug)
56
This is a wiki for the OLPC or "One Laptop Per Child".  Originally called the $100 Laptop, it has developed past that range, but still costs under $200.  I think it's a great program and hope that it succeeds.
57
A wiki for video tutorials on a lot of subjects.  None of these seem to be hosted on this site though so it's really a wiki of links.
58
a wiki for people interested in running multiple Operating systems (looks like mostly linux/unix style) on one computer.
59
A wiki for Eventghost. (I have no idea what that is but I THINK it deals with remote control of your appliances).  I guess this would be very helpful if you wanted people to think you were home while you went on vacation.  Does anyone really fall for that though?  Just a little watching of your house would reveal nobody ever leaves and nobody ever arrives. Right?
60
Wow! a Wiki for all things Castlevania. Need the relationship of Maria Renard to Richter Belmont explained? This is the place you want to check out.
61
This is an interesting wiki.  It's not for writing about real life stuff.  It's for writing about a fictional solar system.  Maybe one day someone will use all of these in a video game?  Maybe someone will use these when writing a sci-fi novel?  Who knows?

If you've ever imagined what life would be like on other planets or imagined your perfect solar system, this could be your chance to write it out for everyone to admire.
62
This is a wiki for the Man Code of Conduct.  I'm guessing this is for those people who wonder about whether something is acceptable for guys to do or not to do.

I personally do what I want, and if it's against the code, who cares?  This is humor.
63
This is a page to sort of point out flaws in wikipedia.  Apparently if you try to do that ON wikipedia, they'll just ban you and revert your edits...
64
This is a wiki for the Valve Developers.   If you're interested in making new maps for your favorite source engine game, this would probably be a good start.
65
Hey Hey! It's a wiki for Team Fortress 2! AWESOME! I can't wait to read up all about my favorite class (Used to be Demoman, but lately has been Pyro).
66
Hard to believe I haven't hit this wiki yet.  This is a wiki to fully explore the depths of the Star Wars universe.

However, if you haven't seen the movies, beware...this will spoilerize nearly every movie (and maybe a few books too).
67
This is another "not a wiki" wikis... You don't have the standard wiki layout and editing system, but you CAN contribute your own information to the database.
68
Another day, another wiki... This one is for "Pure Energy Systems".  Apparently it focuses on renewable energy sources...
69
A wiki for news? I guess if you want to publish your own newspaper or whatever it's the easiest way to let people write the articles they need to write.  You won't find this stuff on Fox news, that's for sure.
70
This is a wiki for 4chan raids and shit... I don't think I'd want to be caught dead here when the heavy shit goes down as you might be thought of as a participant in illegal activities, but it might be interesting nonetheless.
71
Wha? How did I wind up here? What is this place?  I don't know if this could be useful to ANYONE but it's a wiki and as I stumble on them, I'm adding them... Guh
72
Just as it says, this is a wiki of obsolete skills.  If you know of something that USED To be needed but isn't anymore, you can add it here.
73
This isn't a wiki (as in the software) but the concept is the same.  You can edit your own "how to" file to help newbie linux users get better acquainted with their OS.
74
A wiki for linux "howto" files, specifically for Ubuntu.  Basically, if you ever needed to know how to set up a media center on Ubuntu, or how to read your windows partition from linux, this will help you out.
75
I didn't know we needed one of these.  It's a wikipedia for dicks... not penises... pricks, assholes, jerks, that sort of thing.
76
A wiki against internet censorship and how to avoid and/or bypass it...
77
a wiki for the IB chemistry and IB physics exams....
78
The purpose of this wiki is to provide a way for the people of An Tir to cooperatively collect and describe our history and culture.

I have no idea where An Tir is, or whatever, but hey... I stumbled in here...

Turns out "An Tir" is some imaginary country for the SCA.
79
A wiki for the castlecops website... Basically if you've had problems with spyware and viruses this is a good place to check for help.
80
Do you run linux? Want help getting the ALSA drivers to work with your soundcard? This MAY be a good place to check for help...
81
D&D needs a wiki?  I guess if you have access to this, you wouldn't need to buy the books and manuals anymore... or would you?
82
Another linux based Wiki.  If you're trying to optimize your linux setup, this might be a good place to start.
83
Wiki page for "ArchLinux".  I don't have a whole lot to say about this other than "yet another linux wiki".  Linux and wiki just seems to go together...
84
Hmm, this one seems familiar.... a wiki for the University of Calgary.  Maybe there was another university wiki on the list? Probably...
85
A wiki for how to deal with spam... it's got an .eu address so some of this may not apply in the US.
86
This is a search engine especially for wikipedia and Wikihow... Could be very useful.
87
A wiki for gamefaqs? I never knew it existed till just now...
88
This is the wiki for all things anti-scientology.  Supposedly they've got the ire of 4chan on them, but I doubt it'll hold up for much longer... and if it does, it'll purely be newfags that join because the oldfags would much rather propagate lame memes...
89
This is a wiki for the Backtrack Live CD.  I don't think the white on black is easier to read though...
90
A wiki page for pwnage?  I didn't think they needed one, but I guess this could be interesting to browse.
91
There seems to be lots of wikis for linux based stuff... This one is for a window manager for KDE and Gnome.
93
This sounds promising.  A Wiki of downloadable software for freeware, shareware, and open source stuff.  Awesome
94
A wiki for "The Sims 2" series of games... Considering all the various expansions and stuff this is one that NEEDS a wiki.
95
A wiki for programming languages that are... unusual?  I guess if you're a master of one of these languages you may need to write it down so that you're not the ONLY one...
97
A wiki for people who use Audacity (which is a fine open source sound recording program)
98
A wiki for the Coral Content Distribution Network.  I'm not entirely sure but I think it's a resource for people who run their own website and need to host the files offsite...
99
This isn't a wiki in itself as much as it is a way to take the whole wikipedia with you when you're offline...

This might be more useful to someone who doesn't have good internet access.
100
A wiki for game cheats and faqs... looks like it's mostly console based.  That's probably because if a PC player really wants to cheat there's probably a hack or a trainer that will let him easily do it.
101
Wikisource is an online library of free content.  I guess if you post an article with a creative commons attribution it could wind up here.
102
A wiki for book awards?  Not really sure if this is even needed, but apparently some people use it.
103
Woo! Another day, another wiki! This one is for all the people into evolution vs intelligent design.
104
A wiki for UT2004 and other games from that series!
105
Ok, this is weird and I may not leave it here.  It's a wiki (you can instantly recognize the format) but it's a blog?  I'm starting to think that it's more blog than wiki though.
106
A wiki for Wii homebrew games! Awesome! One of these days I may actually be able to find a Wii when I'm interested in buying it.
107
A wiki for people who are into home recording studios and other projects.
108
A wiki for the elder scrolls series of games (including Morrowind and Oblivion)
109
I'm not exactly sure what Wikipathways is... I think it's a wiki for flowcharts or something like that.  Biological pathways? Hmm
110
Just when I thought I had seen it all, here's the wiki for Naruto (I don't know if it's for the Manga or the TV Show, presumably both).
111
A wiki for Bioshock?  Looks like a lot of video games have their own wiki.  For some games it seems like a good idea, and for others it'd be just as good to read an FAQ.
112
A wiki for D&D gaming and 4chan.  Kinda a mixed bag isn't it??
113
Another wiki for Oblivion, but this one is JUST for oblivion (unlike the other which was for the whole Elder Scrolls series)
114
A star trek Wiki.  Ever need a good synopsis of a particular episode?  Have an argument about which deck engineering is locate on?  This would be a good place to start.
115
YAY! It's the Muppet Wiki!! I feel like singing the muppet show theme song now.

I won't though...
118
A wiki for the "underground gamer".  Presumably this means homebrew or emulation, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
120
a Neon Genesis Evangelion wiki.  It's got some non-anime specific articles too.
122
A wiki for all things Armenian... I have no idea why we need it, but eh...
123
The Mozilla wiki.  I should have discovered this long ago.  I guess I don't really care about Mozilla enough to see what's on the wiki about it.
124
A wiki that isn't reliable (expect this one to be down).  I mean, it's not even on a proper URL... it's a dyndns url, which means that it redirects to the guy's computer at home...

I think this is a linux wiki
125
Another Ubuntu/Linux wiki.  In fact, most of the wikis I run into are for linux or some kind of open source software.
126
This is the homepage for TWiki...which you can read all about on this page... open source wiki project.
127
A wiki for some kind of atheist shit or something.  I'm not totally sure.  You could say it's a wiki for arguing.
128
A wiki for planetside...I never played the game but I understand it was awesome/horrible!
129
A really crappy wiki for Skinny Puppy... which is like... an old band or something.  I vaguely remember hearing the name when I was a kid.
130
A very interesting kind of Wiki.  This is a wiki where everyone gets to help describe the entire world on the map.

You notice all the squares? Well click one and it zooms in and there are more squares... click another and it continues further (or you can zoom in with the mouse)

Click on some other boxes and a popup window with information on the place shows up.  Very interesting site to explore.
131
Another Linux based wiki.  This one is especially for getting audio and sound applications working properly (which can be troublesome depending on your version of linux and your hardware).
132
This is a wiki for a BASIC language that's object oriented.
134
A microbe wiki?  I guess if you're a biologist this would be really interesting to you...
135
A wiki for fiction writers.   You can pretty much see what it's all about from the homepage here.
136
A wiki for linux, hacking/cracking and some other stuff... basically an all purpose IT wiki.
137
A wiki for... well, the only article I saw on it was on how to be a better internet troll.  I think basically this is the assholes compendium.  If you're not a big enough asshole yet, just visit here and learn.
138
A wiki for head shrinkers! WOO! Or if you fancy yourself sick in the head but not TOO sick in the head, try to diagnose yourself!
139
A wiki for Brits who want to feel good about themselves by looking at all the stuff they've invented.
140
A wiki about masons.  I'm sure this includes all the secret stuff right? World domination plans?  Hmmm...
141
A wiki for.... zombies?  Oh, I see now, it's a MMORPG you play in your browser.  How lame.   Well, I guess if you play it, you'd probably already know about this page.
142
Another wiki for The Elder Scrolls series, but this time, JUST for Oblivion Mods...
143
a wiki for "Coreboot" which is a free, open source BIOS to replace the proprietary one...  I'd love to see this work.
144
It's a wiki for Wired Magazine.  Obviously there'll be lots of geeky articles in here and DIY How-to stuff.
145
Well this doesn't have wiki in the title, but it's definitely a wiki.  Just the look of it will tell you that much.

Unfortunately I don't know if just anyone could edit the pages, or if you have to apply for the position or something.
146
The "One Laptop Per Child" wiki.  Apparently, this gives you some information on the laptop itself, as well as some of the software.
147
Hmmm I could have sworn I added this one before.  It's a Free Open Source Software Wiki.... I'll look through my pages to see if this is a duplicate.
148
A wiki for Lustre, which is Sun Microsystem's cluster file system.
149
If you've ever wanted to learn how to make mods for TES IV: Oblivion, then you'll find lots of help here.
151
A wiki for DOSBOX!  If you've ever wanted to run one of those old games from your childhood, you'll most likely need this program.
152
a wiki for vim, which is an improvement on the vi text editor for linux/unix
153
I'm not sure how reliable this is (it's a wiki, so anyone can edit it without even being fact checked) but it's supposed to give people a way to see information that the government might not want you to see...

On that premise alone it's interesting to look at... but again, take everything you read with a grain of salt until you can see proof with your own eyes.
154
Ok, I've had time to come back and cull out some of the bad links, and now I see, this is a wiki for file sharing, copyright, p2p etc.  Not Anarchy as I previously thought.
155
A wiki for people wishing to make their own greasemonkey scripts.
156
Well, this is a wiki, but I don't think this guy wants everyone editing it (so then it's NOT a wiki?).  I'm not even really sure what this guy is using mediawiki for really.

I may remove this later.
157
This page goes down more often than your mother.  If you're looking at this as a broken link, try again in a week or two.
158
A wiki for "molecubes" which is apparently some kind of modular robot thingie...
159
I have no idea what a wxWidget is, but this is the wiki for it...
160
A HL2 wiki.  Not as good as some other video game wikis but this does have a few useful articles.
161
A wiki for GUNS in movies. That's a pretty specific wiki huh?  I Guess if you were wondering if that's an AK-74 or an AK-47, then you'll want to come here
162
A wiki for linux media center....I guess this could be useful for older computers or setting up a cheap home theater.
163
A wiki for tetris players! yes, everything you've ever wanted to know about Tetris all in one place...
164
Wow, as much as I like Robot Chicken I can't believe I haven't found this until now. The Robot Chicken Wiki! (and as a bonus, if you say Chicken Wiki enough time it sounds like the rhythm to a 70s blaxploitation film soundtrack)
165
A wiki for "Numenta Technology-related pages".  I have no idea what this means.  Probably has something to do with AI.
166
Another day, another wiki.  This time for fighting games! Awesome.
167
Another wiki, this time for Counterstrike and source engine tweaks.
168
A wiki for Cthulhu... which is to say "if you're tired of the chuck norris jokes and pirates and ninjas are too trendy for you, you can always pretend to worship the ultimate evil deity. HAR HAR!"

Then again, maybe you're a Lovecraft fan... I personally think he was on drugs.
169
This is a joke wiki.  Unless you can understand a wookie, you're not going to get much out of this.
170
A wiki for K-3D, which is a 3D modeling program
171
A wiki for information from "Steal this book" with some other stuff thrown in there.
172
This is a wiki for people interested in making their own LCD projector.

Now who out there among us hasn't wished we could access all sorts of Yu-Gi-Oh information?  Well, besides me that is... I've never even been able to watch an entire episode with a straight face, something I managed with Pokemon.

Monsters in a little ball you can fight? Sure.. that's ok; though something about playing a "deadly serious" card game just sounds hokey.

This is a wiki for NifTools.

NifTools is an open source project creating tools—such as an editor, C++ and Python libraries, and import/export plugins for Maya, 3ds Max, and Blender—for files used by the NetImmerse/GameBryo™ game engine.

A wiki for Civilization! Awesome game, though my favorite version still remains Civ II.
176
A wiki for a 3D printer.  I have no use for this, but maybe one day when 3D printing is so cheap everyone has one... so yeah, 30 years from now.

This is a wiki for all sorts of TV shows.  It seems like every day I stumble on a wiki of some sort, and this one could prove useful to me one day.  Maybe if I ever started watching "Lost" I could use this to try to keep track of the ridiculous plot?

A wiki for Spore.  It seems every game out there has a wiki out for it.
180
A wiki for synology... which uh... appears to be some kind of server setup.
181
The Greatest Wiki ever... this is a Choose your own (mis)adventure Wiki!  Basically, it's a neverending story everyone can edit.
182
A wiki for people hoping to write their own Operating system?

This is a wiki for people with actual "book learning".  I mean, wikipedia attempts to have everything as accurate as possible, but with any idiot able to edit it, it may not always be right.

At least with this one you know that the articles are written by people who have experience in the field they're writing about.  Then again, this is the internet and anyone can pretend to be anyone else...
185
(facepalm)  a wiki so everyone can discuss their pet theories for the TV show "Lost"?
186
How did I go this long without adding the HomeStar Runner wiki?  I don't know.  I think I've visited here a few times...Maybe just not to the main page?
189
The wiki for Garry's Mod.  This is one of those things that really REALLY needs a wiki, because there really isn't any in-game documentation except for a couple of lame tutorials.
190
This is a wiki for how to make your own guitar pedals (I think).  OR maybe just how to modify existing pedals...
191
A wiki for all about mega man games...I think pretty much there's one of these for almost every game out there nowadays.
192
A wiki...some of it seems to be about pen and paper RPGs...some of it is naruto though.
194
This is a wiki for a Mac users group.  It might have some useful stuff in it for some people but I don't use a Mac.
