Bradley A. Esparza in CyberSpace and Beyond! MySpace is a social web-page directory where the user can customize the look of their page and add various amounts of personal information to attract friends or other users or keep friends and family up-to-date on your doings. Despite the hype-backlash it has suffered from its popularity and its being a target for spammers, phishers and paedophiles and other unsavory beings, it is a good way to stay in touch with people.

Almost like a social bookmarking site, the similarity to StumbleUpon almost  smacks of intellectual property violation. But, whatever. It does really seem to have a different enough flavor. They are certainly trying to appeal to a wide audience as they want nothing to do with adult content or anything that, uh, smacks of it.
