I worked night and day trying to get supplies to people in need days before and for weeks after hurricane katrina. At every step along the way I was thwarted by red tape, politics, and innefective organizations. There has to be a way to penetrate the gridlock to get something done in this country. This represents one of America's greatest failures, and stands up as a beacon of what we must overcome.
