Alternative Fuels Now? I'm thinking an even bigger picture then running out of fuel is our not being able to function as a nation without it. We need to realize that the mideast collectively is controlling our society right now. If we go to war with them, do you think they'll still want to be selling us oil? Of course they won't, but what will happen is they'll sell it to Japan who in turn will sell it to France and maybe three or more countries before us and inevitably we'll end up financing their war effort with even more of our money. This has been going on for years. They've effectively neutralized our media with so much mis-information and propaganda we really have no idea what we really can believe. In WW2 the world learned that when American's can be united and is allowed to put all of it's resources into play, nothing can stand in her way. But, conversely, they saw in Viet nam, that if American's can be befuddled, she can be led anyway the media can push her. That's where we are now. Our leadership's integrity is being undermined, and the level of our lifestyle is being sold as lavish to the rest of the word and we're being threatened for it, and what's worse, we're beginning to panic. Those in control of the oil have discovered our achilles heal, peace, at any cost means compromize of all cost, and ever so slowely they have leveredged themselves into this position of control. I believe some day soon, the oil taps will be controlled to the point where all we can do, is whatever they tell us
