Dell is absolutely relentless about pulling time and cost out of its supply chain. Monitors are shipped directly from companies that manufacture them and combine it together with Dell's own shipments. Before, companies use the conventional way which is from suppliers -> plant -> warehouses -> stores -> consumers. Now, it's just from suppliers ->Dell plant (CPUs) -> consumers.
