On October 14th, 10 pilgrims set off on what was to be an experience of a lifetime. A few were a little nervous, and family who were staying behind were even more so. This proved to be unfounded. One pilgrim wrote afterward, "Before my trip, Israel for me was a country torn by war thanks to the news images that the media so readily gives us access to.
