Ok
It seems under this test, they used c4d on a macbook, so at least we know that it is definitely possible.  i also said that it would run it

check below to see the reason this is only half true.

see the paragraph below this note:

"similar results between macbook and macbook pro in our cinema4d test, but with what appears to be a sluggish hard drive in the macbook pro, the 2.2ghz macbooks were actually faster then the macbook pro in almost all other non-gaming test."

The first part about the sluggish hard drive in mac book pro is true, (it's comparing two 5400rpm hard drives to each other), what you should take away is the  fact that the hard drive speed really makes a difference in running cinema4d.  because the macbook has a faster 5400rpm hard drive then the macbook pro, it runs cinema 4d better.

also the last part of the sentence, where it talks about it being faster in all non gaming test should also tell you that the macbook is faster then the macbook pro because of it's better hard drive , but in terms of 3d design, it sucks.  the macbook pro has a slower hard drive, but it's still faster at the 3d design because it has a better 3d card.

ok this reinforces my argument that the, 3d design aspect requires a better 3d card

yea the open gl hard where results suck, and that's the main thing you use when designing in 3d (not rendering)

below is one of the shittyest things about the macbook, the fact that it has no video ram (or 3d graphic's card ram) on the 3d chip, but rather uses the system ram as, like, a paging file for 3d ram.
