Zora Neale Hurston was a good friend of Langston Hughes. Hurston was a very important player in the Harlem Renaissance, as she is one of a few women who is associated with the movement. However, Hurston's own story ends tragically as she died broke and lonely. What author helped revitalize Hurston's work?
