A common cold or flu is likely to cause nasal congestion. A runny nose, fever, cough, joint aches, etc can accompany them. A flu or fever should be immediately treated to prevent the complications that can arise out of them.

Nasal congestion can interfere with one’s normal functioning. A runny nose blocked with mucus indicates sinus congestion. It mostly accompanies cold or hay fever. There may even be a sense of fullness, pressure or pain around the nose, difficulty breathing, etc.
