Interactivity via communication and collaboration is probably the most important factor in ensuring the success of online students and student course completion.  Consider what you can do to enhance communication and collaboration in your online course.

Assessment helps students keep on task.  By providing students with multiple opportunities for evaluation, the potential for cheating in high-stakes testing can be mimimized.

Use of copyrighted materials is more restrictive in an online course than in a course taught on campus.  Whenever possible, use learning materials that not copyrighted or obtain permission before using any copyrighted material.
