Here is a collection of sites I've found useful in learning about and working on my Spitfire 1500.
Here's my car. This picture was taken just before sunset so you can't see how weathered the paint has become. The color is pimento.

The Teglerizer site is a fine collection of information. The color code database is unusual and helpful. I also found the SU Carburettor needle database helpful.
3
Great collection of information about the Spitfire 1500.
4
Great archive of discussions on all sorts of Triumph-related topics.
5
A great site from the Netherlands about the European version of the Spitfire Mark IV and 1500. Written in great English.

Lots of tips to upgrading and rebuilding a Spitfire engine.
7
These are entertaining. Styles in advertising have changed.
