KartOO displays results as a visual map with the relevance of the sites represented by the size of a document image. The map also displays  a list of words which are related to some of the search results. For the search on the Colosseum, these words included Roma, shows and architect.  Hovering the mouse over the words highlights which search results the words are related to.  This type of search engine may be preferred by visual learners.
