Raglan: cool beach town

We drove from Waitomo to Raglan for my last night in NZ. Deborah was heading south to Nelson for a couple of months. On the way, we stopped at a 3000 acre farm to ride horses. The farm was on top of a hillside about 30km from Raglan. Very remote, and you could tell how much the owner loved her horses. And how much the horses loved going for a ride. Raglan was a young, artsy town, perfect for our last night. Its off the beaten path, so if felt like we'd discovered a hidden gem. Next time, I'd stay longer here... perhaps learn to surf.
