Orcas is beautiful, but tough to get to by ferry.

Very peaceful, great bird watching... and wonderful breakfasts.

I've never actually stayed in the hotel, only moored in their marina. But, the pool is very nice as is the bar.

The place to hang out if you've got a very large yacht... preferably with a helicopter parked on top.

Wallace Island is in the canadian gulf islands just north of the San Juans. Its between Saltspring Island. We used stay here when the island was owned by a group of school teachers from the States, which included Siri's parents.

This place is on my wish list of places to try... it looks reasonably priced (for orcas island) and they have yoga.
