1962 Piper Cherokee, 4 seater. Just annualled July 2008! Needs NOTHING! "Excellent engine" as stated per the FAA IA mechanic who did the annual! Many updates already done. Priced FAIR and not ridiculously high like some are trying to sell airplanes for. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PLANE WITH THESE UPGRADES/OPTIONS FOR $24k. 930lb useful load-
Interior new in 2000- 8/10.
Exterior- 7/10.
Painted in 1988, Hangered for at least the last 11 years but now I have it just tied down to save $$$- It does have a cover on it now though to protect from weather.
Perfect Glass all around.
3090 TACH TIME-subject to change as it flies often. 1580 SMOH 0-320 Lycoming 4cyl 160HP (2000 TBO-many of these style engines go past TBO) Cylinder 3 replaced 2005-
Cruises about 120 @ 2200 RPM Fuel Burn is about 7-8 gal/hr.
- All compressions 79 or 78. Been in Annual every year since new except twice in the 80's. ELT battery just replaced few months ago and transponder done last June.
New Plugs.
Oil changed about 11 hours ago / screen cleaned- oil check out clean w/ no metals found.
Other items replaced in recent years-
Mags, Muffler System, Carb, Hoses, Filters, (light weight starter last annual)
No leaks from engine. Clean cowling.
History of plane has been in Georgia, Texas and last 9 years in WA.
All Ad's complied

All logs since new for both engine and airframe.
No Corrosion.
Damage History- Stabiliator replaced, Vertical Fin replaced- 2005 337 complied with. (Hangar door incident- previous owner. Plane was too close to door when it opened.)
Av Map moving 7" GPS - dash mounted
Piper Auto Pilot (heading hold only, no altitude).
All instruments updated. All gauges work including the dash clock!. All lights work. Strobe on vertical.
Digital EGT engine temp monitor
Fuel Flow Monitor. Garmin transponder, older King radio/ newer I-com navcom. 2 place intercom w/adaptor for 3 place- Could be wired for a true 4 place. I Will include 2 David Clark Headsets.
Back up vacuum system. Pito tube is not heated. Handbrakes. Manual Flaps. Wheel Pants. Locking cargo door and main door. Decent size storage. All seat belts in good shape. Sun visors. Excellent light panel at night. GPS glows nicely at night which is also portable so if power is lost, GPS still works. Nice plane. Cowl plugs, tow bar and new canvas cockpit cover included as well. Let me know if you are interested. First $24,000 takes it as I have other financial opportunites I need to pursue asap:( Thanks for looking- Please, serious inquiries only.
