This author seems to indicate a kind of limbo, a liminality  in being between cultures. It goes against the idea of a "richness within". Maybe we should be examining the whole idea of "richness within" .  The term richness presumes a positive experience. Is multiclturalism in schools all its cracked up to be? Maybe it is not a richness at all. Has anyone thought of that?
