This is one for best articles by my of favorite content creator’s !

HOOK !  If you have children in school and don’t give this article some thought “don’t !” whine when they get their education on the street and never walk the sidewalk to success ! I will past a few points from the article here !

” What is school for?

Seems like a simple question, but given how much time and money we spend on it, it has a wide range of answers, many unexplored, some contradictory. I have a few thoughts about education, how we use it to market ourselves and compete, and I realized that without a common place to start, it’s hard to figure out what to do.

Making Something From Nothing

This may be on of the best post’s of the new year ! From Mr Fred Wilson

“That’s a fundamental difference and we cannot ever lose sight of this fact. Nothing costs nothing. We don’t have to pay for our ideas, imagination, and hard work we put into turning nothing into something. Well to be exact, the entrepreneur doesn’t have to pay for any of those things. The VC does pay for those things and gets a piece of the ride from nothing to something as a result.!”  January 1, 2009  Fred Wilson

Add to it this look up article from Dave Winer on helping friend feed http://www.scripting.com/

In one of my reblogs I added  some thoughts  regarding giving free help to Friendfeed Mr Wilson says it better nothing cost’s nothing !  Me below !

“Or better yet have the Executives at Friend Feed follow the folks at Adaptive Blue these people have developed an application for all of us and they will succeed. http://www.adaptiveblue.com/!”  Msandler

The Audacity of Hope

“A New Book Review Program for Bloggers

A few months ago, we began an experiment. We offered a free book to anyone who agreed to post a 200-word review on their blog. We started with The Faith of Barack Obama by Stephen Mansfield. We had almost 200 people request books and almost 70% of them posted book reviews.”

I followed Chri’s advice mainly because I find Louis Gray a good read also - Tweetdeck is a nice addition to a desktop who ever did it understands Design Quality etc.  Not being a great advocate of Machine Communication I will agree wth Messr’s Brogan and Gray ,  Tweetdeck may not be based in Brooklynn but it is at the top of the Food Chain !

Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House on the campus...

Image via Wikipedia

This evening Wxyz  featured the Turkell House Designed in the late 50″s by Frank Lloyd  Wright! I remember when Wright visited the city !  A reporter asked him what he though of Detroit Architecture .  Wright” City Hall looked like a bird cage ! ” Little did he know he predicted the future, the chickens moved out and the Detroit City Hall is inhabitated by Turkies ,  Who stuffed all the money where no one can find it !

Frank Lloyd Wright (born Frank Lincoln Wright, June 8, 1867 – April 9, 1959) was an American (of Welsh descent) architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1,000 projects, which resulted in more than 500 completed works.[1]
Wright promoted organic architecture (exemplified by Fallingwater), was a leader of the Prairie School movement of architecture (exemplified by the Robie House and the Westcott House), and developed the concept of the Usonian home (exemplified by the Rosenbaum House). His work includes original and innovative examples of many different building types, including offices, churches, schools, hotels, and museums. Wright also often designed many of the interior elements of his buildings, such as the furniture and stained glass.
Wright authored 20 books and many articles, and was a popular lecturer in the United States and in Europe. His colorful personal life often made headlines, most notably for the 1914 fire and murders at his Taliesin studio.
Already well-known during his lifetime, Wright was recognized in 1991 by the American Institute of Architects
