I find this article very interesting !  Mr Edelman understands as do many Fan”S Of Public Relations

the benefit’s  of PR !  Now we all know that many people got wealthy during the dot com boom and became experts among their peers !   The newbies really don’t understand public relations , they have created demands using by Brute strength and Ignorance !  Mr Calacanis  is bright but like a lot people he may not

understand Public Relations !

It is like a CEO in The Ethical Drug Business that  thinks buying a Physician  Lunch is Marketing !

MyFox Detroit | Southfield Choir to Sing at Inauguration

I was at the computer this Morning when an on air employee  at Fox 2 Detroit made a plea for $28,000 to send the kids to Washington DC to sing at the event confirming Barak Obama’s presidency ! Now I think as opposed to promoting the ” The Disease of the Day !”  in health works which seems to be 60% of their content !  How about the Station that we support  dig’s into their own Pockets and give the kids the $28,000.00 there are a lot of high paid employees at Fox 2 !  Then they get one of the Local Sports teams to give them a free ride in their Jet !  This is a contrubution to the MENTAL HEALTH of Schools Systems !  Television was founded as a Public Service how about responding to your Public !

Having reached the ripe old age of 72 I have a lot of time to study web content platforms this is what I call blogs since the term blog,s to me  is semantic jazz!   For years I read Etc a magazine published by the

I had tapes by the Late S I Hyakawa and Antatole Rapport !  Even once attended a lecture by Hiyakawa in Miami !  There are two web content platforms that are very informative which I enjoy for specifice reasons!

and  Seth Godin !  The both possess a a conversational style. This style says to the reader I am talking to you

not shouting out to the world !  I had the benefit of a wonderful education and by the time I graduated high school had read Homer, John Dos Passos, and a lot of the great books ! Today a lot of platforms are being authored by Geeks who are well educated but not in the Liberal Arts !  So many write in bytes and bits ! I was banned from Mahalo for my reblogs and Freindfeed for not posting in a designated area!  I was crushed can’t you tell !  Most of these sites are run by Geeks who can only communicate with machines not people ! Gone are the day’s when you get a well written letter on Crain Crest splattered with ink from a fountain pen !
