If you can't wait to fire your Boss, spend more time with your family, and earn a great income from the comfort of your home, then lock your door and read on...

four reasons to quit right now.
Beware of off-center social and political perspective.

4
Off-center view of wealth, power, and social responsibility. Raises potentially valid questions about economic and political assumptions.
Raises concerns about environmental justice and fair social policy.
" During a visit to Malaysia some years ago I met the minister responsible for forestry. In explaining Malaysia's forestry policy he observed that the country would be better off once its forests were cleared away and the money from the sale was stashed in banks earning interest. The financial returns would be greater. The image flashed through my mind of a barren and lifeless world populated only by banks with their computers faithfully and endlessly compounding the interest on the profits from timber sales."

Results of the "2006 Best Careers" are mildly disappointing, but the web site makes sense for career management.
15
PennySaver says - And now that you know what the best jobs are, find out the best institutions to get into to claim those jobs.
16
- Overlooking the treasures at our feet - commonplace or barely hidden.
- The reality of heroism - as a fabrication, or a distortion of reality.
- "He most lives who thinks most, who feels the noblest, and who acts the best."

"Scam" may be harsh for this site, but: 1) it gathers a lot of personal information to determine that there are no openings fitting your profile; and, 2) survey partners seem to offer nominal incentives (fifty cents to ten dollars) to participate in "surveys" (that aren't there) to offer the opportunity to purchase products, or participate in "free" trials.

I am looking forward to development of this page... or, a blog associated with the idea of post-retirement work and income...

The tone of this site scares me. But, I may pursue it for tools and ideas.
This appears to be a Success University site.
I need to check out the "free" training materials, including Dotcomology.

another top job search site. Note that a link to "resources" is available on this page.
24
Monster.com is another large jobs site. User-names and passwords may be a little inconvenient, but tools are excellent.
25
The Ladders has a reputation as an effective resource for finding high paying jobs. It falls outside of our criteria for selecting post-retirement career resources, but it may fit your needs.
26
Craig's List seems smaller than the big jobs sites. The classified format is a little unusual. Craig's List is a little less formal than other jobs sites, appealing especially to creative and technological communities. (Other reviewers have said "eccentric or quirky"). In localized markets, Jobdango is falling into a parallel niche.
To be honest, this is the only place I job hunt. I love the community angle, plus this is the home of all those quirky eccentric jobs you wish you could try.
27
In the Northwest, Jobdango is carving out its own niche. Blending conventional and internet marketing, and employment agency functions, Jobdango is creating partnerships that promise strong growth (and effective service).
28
MSN Careers is another major (global) jobs site.

work, money, and retirement - tools for purpose driven living. Focused on post-retirement direction (and preparation for "retirement"), tools and resources are equally important at other life stages.
"Work" looks at alternatives to traditional jobs and job searches, as well as tools for finding and succeeding in occupational pursuits.
"Money" looks at investment and insurance, financial management, and the purpose of wealth.
"Retirement" challenges traditional visions of retirement and offers constructive alternatives, as well as addressing challenges and opportunities associated with retirement and aging .

Franchising is outside of our focus, and "Entrepreneur" offers both resources and listings for considering franchise opportunities. Franchise Gator may offer value by supplementing "Entrepreneur's" listings.
I may have seen Franchise Gator at one of the affiliate clearinghouses.

"The best bit is when you train SimplyHired by rating jobs and thus the search results get personalized."
This could be very helpful when skills, knowledge, or personality place us in fields dominated by roles or skill sets that do not fit, or when we are trying to apply transferable skills...

"Best Jobs" lists, hiring and income projections. Note that numbers (especially compensation levels) feels out of sync with Department of Labor, or Bureau of Labor and Industries, figures - or advertised figures.
(I need to recheck those databases, and add them to this trail)
