Every summer Carnegie Mellon invites people to come on campus for a week for a hands-on workshop with researchers.

I attended a previous incarnation offered under the PSLC precursor called CIRCLE. It was a great experience. I highly recommend it!

Everyone is invited to apply to attend, though it looks like the 2008 deadlines just passed.
