Notice the left hemithorax. The intercostal spaces are significantly narrowed, signifying that the left lung has pretty much collapsed. This could be due to fibrothorax (fibrosis of the pleura which causes lung restriction) and / or the lung parenchyma. Haziness in the left lower lung obscuring the left cardiophrenic angle could signify fibrosis, consolidation, or pleural effusion. The right lung has numerous nodular infiltrates due to miliary tuberculosis. Commentskineticperplexity
