I was reading the forums over at gpspassion.com and their users had some pretty neat tricks for modifying your Mio C520 Digiwalker system. Some might even work on the Mio C720 Digiwalker cousin unit as the coding seems to be pretty much the same! Before trying any of these make sure you back up all your system files off the Mio device incase something goes wrong. After the MIO update "00002" that fixes the Fast Fly Over,
the button sequence is:

1. Press and hold the Fly Over "button" (on the screen)
2. Press and hold the Menu button (on the right side)
3. Release the Fly Over "button" (on the screen)
4. Release the Menu button (on the right side)

Before I tried the various new skins, I thought fast fly-over can only be achieved by modifying the SYS.TXT file. Later, I found that this is not true. You can actually choose to do the regular fly-over or fast fly-over without modifying the SYS.TXT file. Here is how.

Default route simulation in MioMap 3.2 is slow. I posted earlier the work-around to get a Fast Fly Over by holding down the menu button, a trick taken from the iGO manual, where it is normally used to change iGO's default Fast mode to Slow. It turns out that you can invert the default setting and the effect of the Menu button work around by changing another line in the Sys.txt file. Just comment out the slowsim=1 line, and your default Fly Over will be Fast, with the Menu button alternative giving you Slow.

For easy fast flyover on a hacked c310x I simply edited the sys.txt file in the MyFlashDisk/miomap/miomap folder.
Simply change slowsim=1 to slowsim=0 and save the file back to that folder. Now I fly at 217 mph on city streets and 434 mph on the expressway!

终于搞定了，是map破解的问题，包子送上，谢谢大家回复。

不过是不是破解之后，如果不用SD卡，直接启动就找不到地图啊？
如果我把破解后的地图直接考到Tomtom里，就不会有这个问题？

If you kill your GPS following my method, don't blame me.
Do your homework.

1. connect GPS to computer and backup all file on GPS.
2. delete all file on GPS

(password paris2k for step 3,4,5, if needed)
3. get system file. it is version 5.513, unzip

copy it to your GPS; restart

4. get GPS application, the same link. version 8.417, unzip
copy all the file to GPS;

5. get map key generator, from the same link above; unzip

6.get map here

7. copy file ttgo.bif from your old GPS file, which describe your GPS

8. if you map already have North_America-70.meta.dect, this step is not
needed.
copy your North_America-70.meta to map key generator file folder( "insert
your meta here")
run RunMeforAllAutomatic.cmd in map key generator file folder.
select option 1 when asked.

9. Turn off the TT, take off dock and press 20 sec long the reset button (
push hard)
10. Start the TT and reset the settings to factory default
11. Done
