Not sure if this was the first time I posted about Web Office, but it was certainly around this time (Aug/Sept 05) that I began to notice how many of these web-based office apps were popping up....

This post remains to this day my most successful ZDNet post (thanks in large part to a Slashdotting). But it also seemed to be 'in the right time at the right place' in terms of capturing a new trend emerging - the Web Office.

2. I'm already using some of the Web Office stuff including web calendars. How else can I share calendars since I don't have a personal exchange server. But Ray Ozzie's comment about "Corporates" needing to adopt this technology is important. Why does the enterprise need to move in this direction?
