Mormonism. The word conjures up a different image in everyone's mind. Indeed, there are many cults, churches, organizations and movements, which are either called Mormon or referred to as Mormons. For many years, from its founding in 1830 through the end of the 19th century, the image of the Mormon church that was carried around in the minds of most Americans was that of a rigidly fundamentalistic

Mormons are taught that their happiness in this life and their salvation in the next life depend upon their strict obedience to the commandments of God. These commandments are found in the Mormon scriptures (Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price) and in the words of the modern prophets and leaders of the church, ranging from what is published in church periodicals, to what is preached in the semi-annual General Conferences, to what the local priesthood authorities say to church members in sermons, in classes or in private interviews and counseling sessions

Cult members of the unorthodox Mormon Latter-Day Saints religion are manipulated through fear and guilt.This Latter-Day Saints cult produces fear in their members because if they don’t practice church doctrine faithfully they will fail to reach the highest levels of heaven. It is a perfect RESTORATION of Christ's Church, His Priesthood authority, and the saving ordinances and principles which have been enjoyed by the faithful in all previous dispensations of time. He is at the head of the Church, and He leads and directs it today...Propaganda, you feel...I leave it entirely to you!!!
