Very slick website about archaeological sites of the Yucatan Peninsula.
1. One of the best vacations I every took was to work on an archaeological project. I didn't actually get my hands dirty though; my specialty is programming not spading. I helped create a CD of the Theban Mapping Project. Of course I had to go to Cairo and Thebes to see the sites and meet the team who were working out of the American University. Here is my trail about it.
