The first (direct) effect is to scatter light, effectively increasing the Earth's albedo. This effect is moderately well understood and leads to a cooling from the negative radiative forcing of about 0.5 W/m2 relative to pre-industrial values,[1] partially offsetting the larger (about 2.4 W/m2) warming effect of greenhouse gases. The effect is strongly spatially non-uniform, being largest downstream of large industrial areas.

The terms sweater for the middleman and sweating system for the process of subcontracting piecework were used in early critiques like Charles Kingsley's Cheap Clothes and Nasty, written in 1850. The workplaces created for the sweating system were called sweatshops, and variously comprised workplaces of only a few workers, or as many as 100 or more.

Eight centuries BC the Italian Etruscans in the Tuscany region produced granulated textured gold work.  They made large fibulae or clasps, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.  They also made pendants that were hollow and could be filled with perfume. The Italians are still renowned for high quality stylish trend making gold work today.

Maple syrup contains about 67% solids of which about 89% is sucrose; the remainder is primarily fructose and glucose, with traces of other sugars.[1][2] Maple syrup is produced by heat, or increasingly with reverse osmosis to remove about 90 % of the water, with no added ingredients, and must reach 66 °Bx (degrees brix) in order to legally be "pure maple syrup". It possesses some nutritional value, containing calcium (greater than milk, by volume), potassium (more than bananas, by weight), manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, iron, thiamin.

Flossing everyday is crucial to preventing cavities. Flossing reaches the nearly 35 percent of your mouth that your toothbrush can not reach. In these areas, bacteria live happily pouring out cavity causing acid. Remember brushing without flossing is like taking a shower and only washing two thirds of your body. The remaining third still remains dirty !

Sweat is produced in apocrine sweat glands in the same way. However, the sweat from apocrine glands also contains proteins and fatty acids, which make it thicker and give it a milkier or yellowish color. This is why underarm stains in clothing appear yellowish. Sweat itself has no odor, but when bacteria on the skin and hair metabolize the proteins and fatty acids, they produce an unpleasant odor. This is why deodorants and anti-perspirants are applied to the underarms instead of the whole body.
