Chalk art is certainly not a popular street art option but one that has lots of commercial uses. See the range of uses of chalk art on this site...sign boards and even gift ideas..and this is definitely a flexible medium of communicating. The prices are the best thing about it...it comes to much less than illumined board.

Learn chalk art the way you would. Take a 5day/10 day/15 day course as it would suit you and get to learn the tricks of the art including lettering, layout, color, brush skills and cartooning. You could use it as your next patrty surprise if not for more grand purposes.
