Our Commitment

Trailfire is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

We believe that every local service business owner and their team should be able to use our platform regardless of ability. Accessibility is not an afterthought -- it is a core part of how we build our product.

Conformance Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including:

  • Visual impairments, including blindness and low vision
  • Hearing impairments
  • Motor impairments
  • Cognitive and learning disabilities

WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance means our platform is designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.

Measures We Take

We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of our platform:

  • Include accessibility considerations as part of our development process
  • Provide sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • Use semantic HTML to support screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Provide alternative text for meaningful images
  • Design forms with proper labels and error messaging
  • Conduct regular accessibility audits using automated and manual testing

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of our platform may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Dashboard charts: Some interactive charts in the analytics dashboard may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide data tables as an alternative.
  • Third-party integrations: Some embedded content from third-party services may not meet our accessibility standards.
  • PDF reports: Older exported reports may not be fully tagged for screen reader accessibility. We are working on improving PDF generation.

We are actively working to resolve these issues and improve the accessibility of our entire platform.
